General Information
Xinyi City, a road transportation hub, is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Xuzhou Prefecture City in Jiangsu Province. Two major trunk railways cross each other in the city plus four expressways/highways, forming a road transportation network. As a well-known ancient town, Xinyi is now a regional center at the junction of five prefecture jurisdictions, Xuzhou, Suqian, Huaiying, Lianyungang and Linqi of Shandong Province.

From unearthed archaeological evidences, this land was once a habitat for early human being, tracking back to the Paleolithic period, about 100,000 years ago, who made tools and hunted on the land. Later, the land started to attract military attentions to eventually become a historical battle field, where enemies fought each other, left unforgettable legends behind.
