 About Jiangsu

Jiangsu is one of provinces of China, which owns more than 1488 townships that are further governed by 106 cities, the county-level divisions, that are finally divided to 13 major cities, the prefecture-level divisions, as its jurisdictional units, neighboring with Anhui, Shandong, Zhejiang provinces and Shanghai. Located in the downstream area of the Yangtze River along China eastern coastline, the province is known as the "country of fish and rice" and the "land of rivers and lakes". The two names allude to the rich, fertile land or the region that is crisscrossed by a network of rivers and canals, and dotted with lakes and reservoirs. More >>
