Xuzhou Guanyin Airport opened on November 8, 1997. The airport handles about 300,000 passengers and about 2,000 aircraft movements per year. Not just serving Xuzhou area, XUZ is an air transportation hub for the Huai River Economic Zone that covers a land of about 170,000 squire kilometers including northwest Jiangsu province, southwest Shandong and part of northeast Anhui Provinces.

The airport is located 45 km off downtown Xuzhou, 70 km of Suqian City, 90 km of Zhaozhuang City of Shandong Province, and 110 km of Huaibei of Anhui Province. The airport is accessible from the National Highway 104 and other five provincial highways via Highway 104.

XUZ has been honored multiple times by regional, provincial and national authorities for its excellent passenger service.

The airport has flights flying to 11 major domestic cities including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, and more than five regional airlines have established their offices in the airport including China Eastern Airline, Southern Airline, Hainan Airline, Shanghai Airlince, and Sichuan Airlines.

How to get there:

Airport Shuttle Bus: The airport has shuttle bus service running between Jiali International Hotel nearby the Xuzhou Railway Station. The second shuttle runs between the city downtown and the airport.

Taxi: Available in airport or from any major street in the city.

Buse from and to airport: There is a bus line traveling between the city’s downtown core and the airport.

Car Parking: Available

Facilities: The airport provides services of information desk, banking and currency exchange, hotel booking, post office, groceries, food court, and business centre.
