Wuxi will be the city to host the final for this year’s Miss World China and Miss China 2011 will be crowned in Wuxi. This year's Miss China will represent China to compete the title for Miss World in finals that will be held in London in October 2011.
Miss World China 2011 contestants will appear in Shanghai, Huangshan and Wuxi during the finals, with the winner to be crowned in Wuxi on September 12 during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The contest is endorsed and sponsored by multiple companies and Wuxi, Shanghai and Huangshan Municiple governments between August 12 to September 12.
Medias TV stations will record from inside the Miss World camp, providing a behind-the-scenes glimpse of contestants as they prepare for the last leg of their journey of dreams, while its contests will be broadcasted by live updates.
Launched in 1951, Miss World is one of the world's most watched annual events, with a worldwide viewing audience of over 1 billion.
