I'm actually a university student majoring in English. I've recently been back to Wuxi and I got some free time now since it's winter holiday. Just wondering the working schedule and payment, though.

PS. I really think it's hard to find an "ayi" who speaks English here in Wuxi.. =P

I don't quite understand - you say you are interested in this job, but that you are just in Wuxi for the winter break from university. so you could take the job for a couple of weeks only??

Right, I can do this only for like 2 months maybe.
As far as I'm concerned, the problem is that it really seems impossible for you (in Wuxi of course) to hire someone who is simultaneously a full-time "ayi" and an English speaker. You'll have to compromise a bit, e.g hire some English-Speaker who happens to be free for several months and then another for another several months. That'll be more practical.

I'm not interested in employing someone on a temporary basis - if i were to engage someone for two months, by the time that person had settled in and I had trained/familiarised them with how the job is to be done, it would be time for them to leave!
actually, i've had two other English-speaking people contact me in relation to this position. they will both do a few days trial over the next couple of weeks, and i will hopefully be able to choose one of them, so it seems my problem might be solved!
