Possibly moving to Chang Zhou

Hi

I am considering a move to Chang Zhou. I'm an Aussie with a young family. My husband does fly in fly out work, so the move would be for my job.

Does anyone have any tips for moving to Chang Zhou? Are there regular gatherings of people for a beer, coffee, sport, playgroup etc?

Changzhou is not a bad city, a middle size city by local standards with a population of 3-4 million. There are not many expatriates but still lots of foreigners working for foreign subsidiaries or teaching English. It seems no English school operated by international school chaines. You may need to send your kids to local schools...

Did you make the move? My wife and I are now back in Changzhou after an absence of two years and are enjoying the city with its many changes.

Changzhou may need a seperate forum for expats over there. The city has actually more foreigners than Nantong and Yangzhou, I guess.
