Mexican Food in Nanjing? (Or Dance Clubs?)

Good morning Jiangsu!

I'm hoping there's a good Mexican food restaurant in Nanjing, but I can't find any info online about one ... does anyone know of any good Mexican food there?? I heard about a place in Wuxi, but it's a little far for just one meal.

Also, I'd like to find a dance club where people can salsa, chacha, or swing dance... I know this is a long shot, but if you know of one, let me know! I can't take many more loud techno clubs without pulling my hair out, but I enjoy dancing once in awhile.

there is a Mexican restaurant for you in Nanjing:

The restaurant is not spacious, but has good decorations, background jazz music. I have not been there before but heard people loved it.

There is another Mexican restaurant in Guangzhou Rd but I don't know the number.

i guess both restaurants i've provided in this poster are from the same franchise but the different location. the restaurant owner may most likely be a local but not a Mexican native. but worth for you to try.

The most famous locations for nightlife locate in so-called the 1912 bar District or the urban core Xinjiekou, and others are dispersed across the city.

1912 District location: stretches along Taiping North Rd (Taiping Bai Lu) between Changjiang Rd (Changjiang Lu) and Changjiang Rear Street (Changjiang Hou Jie). It is within a walking distance from Xinjiekou.

Big Scarlet
Hours: Gets busy after 10:00pm, to very late.
The original Scarlet, within stumbling distance of Hunan Road and the Nanjing University area, maintains a large and loyal following, especially with the foreign crowd. This dance-club is busy every night of the week which is something that cannot be claimed by many clubs in Nanjing. The second Scarlet location in the 1912 bar district, called "Small Scarlet".
Drinks cost 25-30 yuan each, which is typical for bars in Nanjing.

Yes, the meni is extensive and written in both English and Chinese characters... So you won't have a problem. There are also Chinese and Western staff, so you should never have a problem!
