Postby KPT » Sun Oct 16, 2011 9:36 pm

I am planning a tour by boat, starting from Suzhou, and travel to Hangzhou and then back to Yongzhou. Can somebody tell me if it is worth to do it as I can also travel by train and how could I arrange this trip? Heard from somebody that the boat is not comfortable.. Is it true? Thanks for your imput! :)

Agreed! These ferries or boats are not clean, outdated , noisy and uncomfortable. If in winter need to add cold.

Overall the boat trip was really good. We booked luxury rooms and the tour was so excited for me but I agree the atmosphere of boat not good.

Thanks a lot, dkas, alexss and alfonso for your valuable information! :) I have changed my plan by boat and still took a train as the weather is not good to be in water. Wind kills.
