I am planning a tour by boat, starting from Suzhou, and travel to Hangzhou and then back to Yongzhou. Can somebody tell me if it is worth to do it as I can also travel by train and how could I arrange this trip? Heard from somebody that the boat is not comfortable.. Is it true? Thanks for your imput!

Agreed! These ferries or boats are not clean, outdated , noisy and uncomfortable. If in winter need to add cold.

Thanks a lot, dkas, alexss and alfonso for your valuable information!

I have changed my plan by boat and still took a train as the weather is not good to be in water. Wind kills.
