Nighlife near Shanghai Rd.

I am moving real close to the 200 block of Shanghai Rd.I am coming from a small Chinese city with no nightlife. Can anyone tell me about nightlife in this area or close by. Also any western restaurants around. Thanks.

your area is very close to the downtown core, either Xinjiekou or Goulou Square, within a walking distances 1km around. Go to east along zhu jiang lu about 500m you will reach the intersection of zhong shan lu and zhong yang lu and subway station. you could either go north along zhong yang lu to Goulou Square or go south along zhong shan lu to Xinjiekou... very convenient for shopping, restaurants...
